Coins & money
What are coins?
Coins are Ximopi's reward unit. Respondents earn them for valid responses; survey owners spend them to collect responses. They're not money or e-money and can't be transferred between users.
What's the exchange rate?
₫1,000 = 10,000 coins. Respondents earn 2,000 coins per estimated minute — a 3-minute survey pays 6,000 coins (≈ ₫600). Rates may change; any change is announced before it applies and never affects coins already earned.
What's the minimum withdrawal?
200,000 coins (₫20,000).
Where can I withdraw to?
MoMo or a bank account in Vietnam. Payouts to other Southeast Asian countries are being added.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Up to 3 working days after you request it.
Are there fees?
Ximopi doesn't charge a withdrawal fee. Your bank or e-wallet may charge its own fees.
Do I pay tax on rewards?
That depends on the tax rules in your country. Small survey rewards are often not taxed, but Ximopi doesn't deduct or advise on tax.
Do coins expire?
Not while your account is active. Coins in an account with no activity for 24 months may expire, after an email warning.
Privacy
Who can see what?
Survey owners see your country, university, field, year, gender and answers. They never see your name, email, phone number or payout account.
Where is my data stored?
With our cloud providers (Google Cloud and Vercel), in data centres that may be outside your country. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Email us from the address on your account. We'll delete your profile and contact details; anonymous answers already delivered to survey owners stay with them.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No, and no.
Response quality
Why was my response rejected?
It failed one of our automatic checks: the attention check, answering too fast, giving every statement the same rating, or a meaningless written answer. You saw the exact reason when you submitted.
I think the rejection was wrong. What can I do?
Email us within 14 days with the survey name and time. A person reviews it and replies within 7 working days. If we got it wrong, we credit the coins.
When is an account suspended?
3 rejected responses within 30 days pauses an account for review. Duplicate accounts, bots, scripts or AI-generated answers lead to closure and cancelled coins.
Do survey owners see rejected responses?
They see how many were rejected and why, but rejected responses aren't included in their data and they aren't charged for them.
Posting a survey
How do I build my questionnaire?
In Ximopi's builder: single choice, multiple choice, 5-point scale and short-text questions, each required or optional, in any order. An attention check is added automatically.
Can I import my Google Form?
Not yet. Re-entering a 20-question form usually takes 10–15 minutes. We build the questions ourselves so we can check response quality.
How long until I have enough responses?
It depends on how narrow your audience is and how many matching respondents are active. Broad audiences fill fastest; very narrow ones can take longer. You can watch progress live and close any time.
What formats can I export?
A labelled CSV (answers as text) and an SPSS-ready CSV with numeric codes plus a codebook. Both include completion time and speed ratio.
Can I ask for names or contact details?
Only if it's genuinely needed for your study and you explain why in the survey. Our Terms prohibit collecting identifying or sensitive data without a clear reason and consent.
